Carnivorous Grass

This painting captures the panic of a strange wooden creature in the middle of a field teeming with carnivorous plants. Although its wooden body spares it from being devoured, the sight of the grass attempting to consume it alive causes immense fright. In the background, seven peculiar birds are seen fleeing in terror from these menacing entities that have unexpectedly emerged from the mud.
The artist drew inspiration from observing birds flying against a beautiful sunset in Lima, Peru, infusing the scene with a sense of urgency and the unexpected dangers lurking in seemingly serene settings.
